SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Maxine May Hubbard of Des Plaines, who
4passed away on June 1, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard was born to Howard and Florence
6May in Mansfield, Ohio on December 17, 1942; she graduated
7from DePauw University; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard taught Spanish and served as an
9administrator and principal in Illinois School District 62;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard remained an active member of the
12community after her retirement and served in leadership roles
13within the District 62 Foundation, the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and
14the First Congressional Church; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard loved traveling and spending time
16with her family and friends; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard was preceded in death by her
18husband of 50 years, Douglas Hubbard, and her daughter,
19Rebecca; and

1    WHEREAS, Maxine Hubbard was the loving mother of Douglas
2(Jill), the proud grandmother of Henry and Jesse, and the dear
3sister of Mickey Shemansky; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Maxine May Hubbard and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Maxine Hubbard as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
