| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Patrick Walker Brannan of |
| 4 | | Jacksonville, who passed away on July 7, 2024; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan, the son of Edwin and Karen |
| 6 | | Lippert Brannan, was born in Beardstown on August 6, 1978; he |
| 7 | | served in the U.S. Army during the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars; |
| 8 | | he married Kimberly Beddingfield in Myrtle Beach, South |
| 9 | | Carolina on August 12, 2015; and |
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan worked for the Illinois |
| 11 | | Department of Transportation for several years; and |
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan attended First Christian Church |
| 13 | | in South Jacksonville; he was a member of AMVETS, the VFW, and |
| 14 | | the Pine Point Campers Club; and |
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan enjoyed fishing, woodworking, |
| 16 | | riding his bike, traveling with his wife, and boating with his |
| 17 | | friends; he loved spending time with his family, friends, and |
| 18 | | dogs; and |
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan was preceded in death by his |
| 20 | | father; his maternal grandparents, Max Lippert and Betty |
