SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Frank Joseph Bartolone of Park Ridge, 
4who passed away on July 3, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone was born to Sam and Rose 
6Bartolone in Chicago on February 5, 1931; he was a resident of 
7Park Ridge for more than 50 years; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone worked as a certified financial 
9planner for Ameriprise Financial, providing financial advice 
10to individuals on how to prepare and save for college, 
11retirement, and other major financial goals; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone was a dedicated community leader 
13and served Park Ridge in multiple roles, including as an 
14alderperson from 1993 to 2003, during which he represented the 
15city's 7th Ward, and as board chairman of the Bensenville 
16Community Credit Union; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone loved golfing and traveling; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone was a beloved husband, father, 
19grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother; and

1    WHEREAS, Frank Bartolone was the husband of the late 
2Dorothy Louise (Mammoser) Bartolone; the father of Christine 
3(Tim) Stoner, David (Julia) Bartolone, Robert (Mary Lescher) 
4Bartolone, Dean (Patty) Bartolone, Diane Kurtz, and Susan 
5(Mike) Mallahan; the grandfather of 18; the great-grandfather 
6of four; and the brother of seven; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
9Frank Joseph Bartolone and extend our sincere condolences to 
10his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to the family of Frank Bartolone as an expression of 
14our deepest sympathy.
