SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Ronald Stanley "Ron" Goczkowski of Des 
4Plaines, who passed away on July 18, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ron Goczkowski was born to Stanley and Irene 
6Goczkowski on October 27, 1942; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Ron Goczkowski was a longtime funeral director at 
8Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ron Goczkowski served as a Little League coach 
10and was a member of the Optimist Club; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ron Goczkowski was the husband of Joanne 
12Goczkowski; the father of Scott (Kristen) and Douglas 
13(Jessica) Goczkowski; the grandfather of five; the brother of 
14the late Gary (Jan) and Gregory (Alice) Goczkowski; and the 
15uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Ronald Stanley "Ron" Goczkowski and extend our sincere 
19condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
20him; and be it further
