SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Theodore Frank "Ted" Nache of Mesa, 
4Arizona, formerly of Silvis, who passed away on July 25, 2024; 
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Ted Nache was born to Socorro and Jennie (Penca) 
7Nache in Silvis on October 14, 1935; he served in the U.S. 
8Marines Corps; he moved to Arizona approximately 40 years ago; 
9and
 
10    WHEREAS, Ted Nache worked at the Rock Island Line for many 
11years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Ted Nache enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, 
13and bowling; he was a season ticket holder for the Iowa 
14Hawkeyes football and basketball teams, and he enjoyed taking 
15his younger brothers along to games; he loved listening to 
16music, especially Frank Sinatra; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ted Nache was preceded in death by his parents; 
18his sisters, Esther "Mickey" Soliz and Josephine Lopez; and 
19his infant brothers, John Nache and Robert Nache; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ted Nache is survived by his son, Aaron

1(Brittany) Chavez; his grandson, Michael; his brothers, Val 
2(Marcia) Nache and Ray Nache; and many nieces and nephews; 
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Theodore Frank "Ted" Nache and extend our sincere condolences 
7to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
8it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Ted Nache as an expression of our 
11deepest sympathy.
