| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Theodore Frank "Ted" Nache of Mesa, |
| 4 | | Arizona, formerly of Silvis, who passed away on July 25, 2024; |
| 5 | | and |
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Ted Nache was born to Socorro and Jennie (Penca) |
| 7 | | Nache in Silvis on October 14, 1935; he served in the U.S. |
| 8 | | Marines Corps; he moved to Arizona approximately 40 years ago; |
| 9 | | and |
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Ted Nache worked at the Rock Island Line for many |
| 11 | | years; and |
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Ted Nache enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, |
| 13 | | and bowling; he was a season ticket holder for the Iowa |
| 14 | | Hawkeyes football and basketball teams, and he enjoyed taking |
| 15 | | his younger brothers along to games; he loved listening to |
| 16 | | music, especially Frank Sinatra; and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Ted Nache was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 18 | | his sisters, Esther "Mickey" Soliz and Josephine Lopez; and |
| 19 | | his infant brothers, John Nache and Robert Nache; and |
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Ted Nache is survived by his son, Aaron |
