SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of James C. Hardin of East Moline, who
4passed away on September 8, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, James Hardin was born in Moline to Wesley and
6Credola (Rasmussen) Hardin on October 16, 1961; he married
7Lisa Beck in Rock Island on June 1, 2016; and
 
8    WHEREAS, James Hardin spent 28 years serving his country
9in the U.S. Army; and
 
10    WHEREAS, James Hardin was an avid MOPAR fan and car
11collector; he also enjoyed sports and golfing; and
 
12    WHEREAS, James Hardin was preceded in death by his
13parents; his sisters, Elizabeth Webber and Debra Hecker; and
14his brothers, Mike Hardin and John Taylor; and
 
15    WHEREAS, James Hardin is survived his wife, Lisa; his
16daughter, Ashleigh Beverly; his grandson, Ashton Fox; his
17sister, Catherine Toland; his brother, Daniel Hardin; and
18numerous nieces, nephews, and other family; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2James C. Hardin and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of James Hardin as an expression of our
7deepest sympathy.
