SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Jerry W. Mosenfelder of Rock Island, 
4who passed away on September 25, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jerry Mosenfelder, the son of William and Roseann 
6(Larson) Mosenfelder, was born in Rock Island on March 20, 
71951; he graduated from Rock Island High School in 1969; he 
8served in the U.S. Air Force; he received his associate's 
9degree from Black Hawk College; he married Renee Lievens in 
10Rock Island on August 21, 1993; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jerry Mosenfelder worked as an accountant for the 
12Rock Island Arsenal; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Jerry Mosenfelder loved music and horses; most of 
14all, he loved his family; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jerry Mosenfelder was preceded in death by his 
16sister, Leanne Mosenfelder, and his brothers, Richard 
17Mosenfelder and Thomas Mosenfelder; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Jerry Mosenfelder is survived by his wife, Renee 
19Mosenfelder; his children, Angela Bitz, Melody Mosenfelder, 
20Ryan Lievens, Billy Mosenfelder, and Robby (Felicia)

1Mosenfelder; 11 grandchildren; his siblings, Mindy (Greg) 
2Bateman, Jeff (Pam) Mosenfelder, Danny Mosenfelder, and Steven 
3Mosenfelder; and his sister-in-law, Debbie Mosenfelder; 
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Jerry W. Mosenfelder and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Jerry Mosenfelder as an expression 
12of our deepest sympathy.
