| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
| 3 | | to learn of the death of Luke P. Beane of St. Louis, Missouri, |
| 4 | | who passed away on November 15, 2024; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Luke Beane was born in Springfield on December |
| 6 | | 19, 1994; he attended St. Agnes Grade School and graduated |
| 7 | | from Springfield High School in 2013; and |
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Luke Beane, who possessed a vast love for the St. |
| 9 | | Louis Cardinals, was a dedicated and passionate employee at |
| 10 | | Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, where he began working |
| 11 | | in 2020; during his off-hours at the stadium, he brought joy |
| 12 | | and impeccable service to the patrons at Rich & Charlie's |
| 13 | | Italian Restaurant in St. Louis, and he was also an amazing |
| 14 | | artist who was well-known in the St. Louis art scene; and |
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Luke Beane was a staunch supporter of the St. |
| 16 | | Louis Blues; he enjoyed exploring his Native American |
| 17 | | heritage, taking trips to Disneyland, tubing with his |
| 18 | | grandfather, Mike, on Lake Petersburg, attending concerts, |
| 19 | | taking bike rides through nature, and partaking in his |
| 20 | | mother's home-cooked feasts; and |
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Luke Beane deeply loved his family, who were the |

| 1 | | cornerstone of his world, and he spent countless hours sharing |
| 2 | | laughter and playing games with them; he will be remembered |
| 3 | | for his vibrant blue eyes, his heartwarming smile, his |
| 4 | | passionate creativity, and his adventurous spirit; and |
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Luke Beane was preceded in death by his |
| 6 | | grandparents, James and Margaret Beane; his great-grandmother, |
| 7 | | Madelyn Rogers; his uncle, Floyd Heller; his aunts, Jody and |
| 8 | | Rhonda Beane; his cousin, Matthew Jones; and his |
| 9 | | step-grandfather, Thomas Halberstadt; and |
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Luke Beane is survived by his father, Joseph P. |
| 11 | | Beane; his parents, Vivian and Miles Anderson; his sisters, |
| 12 | | Libby (Carrick) Younkin and Sophie Anderson; his nephew, Miles |
| 13 | | Younkin; his grandparents, Guss Wardle, Michael and Elizabeth |
| 14 | | Anderson, and Patricia Halberstadt; his aunts, Tanya Heller, |
| 15 | | Angela (Patrick) Ryan, Paetra Yates, and Jackie (Steve) Jones; |
| 16 | | his uncles, Ryan (Kathy) Samuelson, Jim Beane, and John Beane; |
| 17 | | many cousins; and other family and friends; therefore, be it |
| 18 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL |
| 19 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 20 | | Luke P. Beane and extend our sincere condolences to his |
