AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1312

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1312, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment 
4No. 2, on page 16, line 20, by replacing "defense" with 
5"defense, including any existing qualified immunity defense,"; 
6and
 
7on page 16, by replacing lines 22 through 25 with the 
8following:
9"any Illinois court system personnel acting lawfully."; and
 
10on page 17, by replacing lines 18 through 22 with the 
11following:
12    ""Law enforcement agent" means an agent of federal, State, 
13or local law enforcement authorized with the power to arrest 
14or detain individuals or manage the custody of detained 
15individuals for civil immigration enforcement."; and
