| 1 | | AN ACT concerning gaming. |
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly: |
| 4 | | Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the |
| 5 | | Anti-Click Gambling Data Analytics Collection Act. |
| 6 | | Section 5. Definitions. As used in this Act, "remote |
| 7 | | gambling" means gambling in which persons participate by the |
| 8 | | use of remote communication, such as the Internet, telephone, |
| 9 | | television, radio, or any other kind of electronic or other |
| 10 | | technology for facilitating communication. |
| 11 | | Section 10. Data collection prohibited. An entity that |
| 12 | | operates a remote gambling platform or a subsidiary of the |
| 13 | | entity shall not collect data from a participant with the |
| 14 | | intent to predict how the participant will gamble in a |
| 15 | | particular gambling or betting scenario. |
| 16 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 17 | | becoming law. |
