AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2352

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2352 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Governmental Account Audit Act is amended 
5by adding Section 3.5 as follows:
 
6    (50 ILCS 310/3.5 new)
7    Sec. 3.5. Audits not required. Notwithstanding any 
8provision of this Act to the contrary, a park district, forest 
9preserve district, or conservation district shall not be 
10required to conduct an audit under this Act unless, in any 
11fiscal year beginning on or after the effective date of this 
12amendatory Act of the 104th General Assembly, the park 
13district, forest preserve district, or conservation district 
14receives revenue in excess of $1,500,000. Any park district, 
15forest preserve district, or conservation district that is not 
16required to conduct an audit under this Act because the

1district did not meet the revenue requirements of this Section 
2shall, in lieu of an audit, file an annual financial report 
3with the Comptroller in accordance with the requirements of 
4Section 3.".
