AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2378 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2378 on page 16, by 
3replacing lines 10 through 12 with the following:
4        "(2)(A) is receiving retirement income from a 
5    self-managed plan account under Section 15-158.2 of the 
6    Illinois Pension Code if the participant: (i) continues to 
7    make a payment for the cost of benefits identified by the 
8    Department of Central Management Services with an ongoing 
9    monthly payment through a payment structure provided by 
10    the Department of Central Management Services; (ii) pays 
11    the actual cost associated with obtaining and processing 
12    that payment otherwise incurred by the Department of 
13    Central Management Services; and (iii) agrees in writing 
14    that no benefit will be offered or owed when item (i) or 
15    (ii) of this paragraph (2) are unpaid or (B) is receiving a 
16    monthly survivor's annuity".
