| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 12.7 as follows:

| 9 | | Sec. 12.7. Wastewater reuse. Notwithstanding any other |
| 10 | | provision of law, the use of treated municipal wastewater from |
| 11 | | a publicly owned treatment works is authorized for irrigation |
| 12 | | and industrial use when conducted in accordance with a permit |
| 13 | | issued under Section 39(b) of this the Act. |
