AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2658

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2658, AS AMENDED,
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
41, on page 1, line 5, by deleting "6-203.1,"; and
 
5on page 1, line 6, after "6-208" by inserting "and by adding
6Section 6-203.2"; and
 
7by replacing line 10 on page 5 through line 12 on page 6 with
8the following:
 
9    "(625 ILCS 5/6-203.2 new)
10    Sec. 6-203.2. Credit for ignition interlock use. A person
11whose license was suspended and was issued a monitoring device
12driving permit under Section 6-206.1 and who is subsequently
13convicted of the underlying charge, for the same incident,
14shall be given credit for time served on the monitoring device
15driving permit toward any mandatory ignition interlock

1requirement resulting from the conviction if the person had no
2ignition interlock violations, as defined by the Secretary,
3while on the monitoring device driving permit.".
