AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2932 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2932 on page 1, 
3immediately below 13, by inserting the following:
4    "A student media adviser may not be dismissed, suspended, 
5disciplined, reassigned, transferred, or otherwise retaliated 
6against for:
7        (1) refusing to infringe on conduct that is protected 
8    by this Act, the First Amendment of the Constitution of 
9    the United States, or Section 4 of Article I of the 
10    Illinois Constitution; or
11        (2) acting to protect a student journalist engaged in 
12    permissible conduct under this Act, the First Amendment of 
13    the Constitution of the United States, or Section 4 of 
14    Article I of the Illinois Constitution."; and
 
15    on page 1, line 17, by replacing "Section" with "Act".
