SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 


    Appropriates $25,836,049 to various State universities for the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs. Effective July 1, 2025.

1    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
  
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The amount of $640,000, or so much of that sum 
5as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 
6Fund to Chicago State University for the administration of the 
7Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant programs.
 
8    Section 10. The amount of $170,000, or so much of that sum 
9as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 
10Fund to Governors State University for the administration of 
11the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant 
12programs.
 
13    Section 15. The amount of $745,225, or so much of that sum 
14as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 
15Fund to Eastern Illinois University for the administration of 
16the Illinois National Guard and Illinois Veteran Grant 
17programs.
 
18    Section 20. The amount of $7,500,000, or so much of that 
19sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 
20Revenue Fund to Illinois State University for the 
21administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois

1Veteran Grant programs.
 
2    Section 25. The amount of $7,400,000, or so much of that 
3sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 
4Revenue Fund to the University of Illinois System for the 
5administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois 
6Veteran Grant programs.
 
7    Section 30. The amount of $395,662, or so much of that sum 
8as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 
9Fund to the Northeastern Illinois University for the 
10administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois 
11Veteran Grant programs.
 
12    Section 35. The amount of $2,100,000, or so much of that 
13sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 
14Revenue Fund to the Northern Illinois University for the 
15administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois 
16Veteran Grant programs.
 
17    Section 40. The amount of $5,600,000, or so much of that 
18sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 
19Revenue Fund to the Southern Illinois University System for 
20the administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois 
21Veteran Grant programs.

1    Section 45. The amount of $1,285,162, or so much of that 
2sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 
3Revenue Fund to Western Illinois University for the 
4administration of the Illinois National Guard and Illinois 
5Veteran Grant programs.
 
6    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 
72025.
