Appropriates $3,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Secretary of State for a recurring, permanent grant program for Illinois academic libraries. These grants shall be applied toward Open Education Resources. Effective July 1, 2025. |

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The sum of $3,000,000, or so much of that sum as |
| 5 | | may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue |
| 6 | | Fund to the Secretary of State for a recurring, permanent |
| 7 | | grant program for Illinois academic libraries. These grants |
| 8 | | shall be applied toward Open Education Resources.

| 9 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 10 | | 2025. |
