AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3487 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3487 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law 
5of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by 
6changing Section 2105-368 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 2105/2105-368)
8    Sec. 2105-368. Data on applications. In conjunction with 
9applications for licensure and renewals, the Department shall 
10request, and applicants may voluntarily provide, demographic 
11information that includes sex, ethnicity, race, and 
12disability, primary language spoken, anticipated date of 
13retirement, type of employment, and zip code. On or before 
14March 1 of each calendar year, the Department shall publish a 
15report on the Department's website that contains the 
16demographic information it collected the preceding calendar

1year, the number of applications for licensure and renewal of 
2licensure it received in the preceding calendar year, and the 
3number of applicants who were denied licensure in the 
4preceding calendar year regardless of whether application was 
5made in that calendar year.
