| 1 | | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4247

| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4247 on page 2, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 20 through 23 with the following: |
| 4 | | ""Athletic trainer" means a licensed athletic trainer |
| 5 | | hired by or contracted by a school district, charter school, |
| 6 | | or nonpublic school to aid a public school or the charter |
| 7 | | school or nonpublic school in the prevention, examination, |
| 8 | | diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, and rehabilitation of |
| 9 | | injuries."; and
|
| 10 | | on page 13, line 1, after "gym.", by inserting "If that |
| 11 | | medication is not accessible from permanent storage, it is the |
| 12 | | trained personnel's responsibility to transport the medication |
| 13 | | from permanent storage to the event."; and
|
| 14 | | on page 23, immediately below line 10, by inserting the |
| 15 | | following: |
