| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations. |
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly: |
| 4 | | Section 5. The sum of $2,100,000, or so much thereof as may |
| 5 | | be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to |
| 6 | | the Department of Healthcare and Family Services for a grant |
| 7 | | to Safer Pathways to support the Supportive Reentry Network |
| 8 | | Collaborative, an integrated network that unifies clinical |
| 9 | | care, behavioral health, housing, employment, identification |
| 10 | | restoration, legal benefit access, and care coordination into |
| 11 | | one accountable system that connects people who are 90 days |
| 12 | | pre-release through 12 months and beyond of post-release from |
| 13 | | incarceration to health care, behavioral health, stabilization |
| 14 | | supports, employment and housing using close-loop referrals, |
| 15 | | shared metrics, and a unified data system. |
| 16 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 17 | | 2026. |
