    Appropriates $352,200,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative expenses of the Home Illinois Program. Effective July 1, 2026.

1    AN ACT concerning appropriations.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The sum of $352,200,000, or so much thereof as
5may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
6Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and
7administrative expenses of the Home Illinois Program,
8including pilot programs, to prevent and end homelessness in
9Illinois, including, but not limited to, homelessness
10prevention, emergency and transitional housing, rapid
11rehousing, outreach, and related services and supports for
12individuals at risk or experiencing homelessness, including
13homeless veterans, in the approximate amounts below: 
14 For Shelter and Other Services  
15  for Homeless Populations.........................76,496,000 
16 For Emergency & Transitional Housing..............56,000,000 
17 For Court-Based Rental Assistance.................50,000,000 
18 For Rapid Rehousing...............................25,000,000 
19 For Homelessness Prevention.......................21,200,000 
20 For Home Illinois Pilot Programs,

22 For Scattered Site Permanent Supportive Housing...72,500,000
