Appropriates $50,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Housing Development Authority for the purpose of depositing into the First-Generation Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Fund to provide down payments and closing costs assistance to eligible first-generation homebuyers, and other administrative expenses under the First-Generation Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Program. Effective July 1, 2026. |

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The sum of $50,000,000, or so much of that |
| 5 | | amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General |
| 6 | | Revenue Fund to the Illinois Housing Development Authority for |
| 7 | | the purpose of depositing into the First-Generation Homebuyer |
| 8 | | Down Payment Assistance Fund to provide down payments and |
| 9 | | closing costs assistance to eligible first-generation |
