| 6 | | on page 2, line 14, by replacing "reuse; and" with "reuse;"; |

| 8 | | on page 2, line 17, by replacing "requirements." with |
| 9 | | "requirements; and"; and |
| 10 | | on page 2, immediately below line 17, by inserting the |
| 11 | | following: |
| 12 | | "(4) not require an existing building undergoing |
| 13 | | adaptive reuse to comply with International Building Code |
| 14 | | provisions intended for new construction if code |
| 15 | | compliance has been demonstrated using the International |

| 2 | | (d) A home rule unit may not regulate automobile parking |
| 3 | | in a manner inconsistent with this Section. This Section is a |
| 4 | | limitation under subsection (i) of Section 6 of Article VII of |
| 5 | | the Illinois Constitution on the concurrent exercise by home |
| 6 | | rule units of powers and functions exercised by the State."; |
| 7 | | and |
| 8 | | on page 3, line 17, after "Code", by inserting "or the |
