Provides that quick-take powers may be used by the Village of Oak Park for a period of 2 years after the effective date of the amendatory Act for the acquisition of specified properties in Cook County for the purpose of a public building and facility. Repeals the provisions added by the amendatory Act 3 years after the effective date. Effective immediately. |

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly: |
| 4 | | Section 5. The Eminent Domain Act is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 25-5-145 as follows: |
| 6 | | (735 ILCS 30/25-5-145 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 25-5-145. Quick-take; Village of Oak Park. |
| 8 | | (a) Quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used by |
| 9 | | the Village of Oak Park for a period of 2 years after the |
| 10 | | effective date of this amendatory Act of the 104th General |
| 11 | | Assembly for the acquisition of the following described |
| 12 | | properties for the purpose of a public building and facility: |
| 13 | | 3-31 Madison Street and 509 S. Humphrey Avenue (sometimes |
| 14 | | known as 11 Madison Street) |
| 15 | | PINs 16-17-107-035-0000, 16-17-107-034-0000, |
