Appropriates $150,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants to each State-designated cultural district in the amounts of $5,000,000 to each State-designated cultural district for the operation of the district and $5,000,000 to each State-designated cultural district for capital improvements to the district. Effective July 1, 2026. |

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations. |
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly: |
| 4 | | Section 5. The sum of $150,000,000, or so much of that sum |
| 5 | | as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue |
| 6 | | Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity |
| 7 | | for grants to each State-designated cultural district under |
| 8 | | 605-1057 of the Department of Commerce and Economic |
| 9 | | Opportunity Law in the amounts of $5,000,000 to each |
| 10 | | State-designated cultural district for operations of the |
| 11 | | district and $5,000,000 to each State-designated cultural |
| 12 | | district for capital improvements to the district. |
| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 14 | | 2026. |
