Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Governors State University for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, as follows:

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | ARTICLE 1
|
| 5 | | Section 5. The sum of $27,650,500, or so much thereof as |
| 6 | | may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education |
| 7 | | Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Governors State |
| 8 | | University to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal |
| 9 | | year ending June 30, 2027.

| 10 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 11 | | 2026. |
