| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Food is the substance by which life is sustained; |
| 3 | | and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, The type, quality, and amount of food that |
| 5 | | individuals consume each day plays a vital role in their |
| 6 | | overall health and physical fitness; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, There is a need for continuing nutrition |
| 8 | | education and a wide-scale effort to enhance healthy eating |
| 9 | | practices; therefore, be it
|
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 11 | | HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 12 | | we declare March 2025 as Nutrition Month in the State of |
| 13 | | Illinois; and be it further
|
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That we encourage all citizens to support |
| 15 | | Nutrition Month and to consider their nutrition and the |
| 16 | | nutrition of others in the hope of achieving optimum health |
| 17 | | for both today and tomorrow. |
