HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Nazareth Academy 
4football team on its Class 5A state championship; and
 
5    WHEREAS, The Nazareth Academy football team has now won 
6three back-to-back state championships, due in no small part 
7to the work of Head Coach Tim Racki, who led the Roadrunners to 
8their historic third straight championship; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Every player on the Nazareth Academy football 
10team did their part to secure a decisive 29 to 27 victory at 
11Hancock Stadium at Illinois State University in Normal in 
12November of 2024; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Outstanding individual efforts by senior 
14linebacker Gabe Kaminski and sophomore defensive end Chris 
15Kasky were highlights of a strong team performance; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Nazareth Academy is the pride of La Grange Park 
17and demonstrates that through hard work, grit, and the will to 
18overcome adversity one can achieve anything; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
20HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we congratulate the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners, their 
2coaches, outstanding staff, and team parents for their 
3impressive three time championship, and we wish them many more 
4successful years on and off the field; and be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be 
6presented to the players, families, and representatives of the 
7Nazareth Academy Roadrunners football team as a symbol of our 
8respect and esteem.
