HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy 
4Mae Roberson; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dorothy Roberson led a career at Andrew Carnegie 
6Elementary School spanning 35 years, where her unwavering 
7commitment, vast expertise, and nurturing spirit made a 
8profound impact on the lives of countless students and 
9colleagues, leaving a lasting legacy in education; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Dorothy Roberson devoted herself to and possessed 
11an immeasurable love for her family, friends, and community, 
12embodying the true essence of compassion, grace, and 
13dedication; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Dorothy Roberson's elegance, humor, and radiant 
15personality made her a pillar of strength, a positive role 
16model, and a beacon of light to all who knew her; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Dorothy Roberson's memory, wisdom, and the 
18lessons she imparted will live on through those who loved her 
19and continue to inspire generations to come; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Dorothy Roberson, a beloved mother, dear friend,

1and cherished member of her community, will forever be 
2remembered for her legacy of love, kindness, and strength; 
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
5HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we mourn the passing of Dorothy Mae Roberson and extend our 
7sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew 
8and loved her; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Dorothy Roberson as an expression 
11of our deepest sympathy.
