HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, Falun Dafa practitioners will celebrate the 33rd 
3Annual World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, 2025 with festivals and 
4events held across the United States and around the world; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Falun Dafa is an advanced exercise and meditation 
6practice of body, mind, and spirit based on the principles of 
7Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Men and women in the United States are learning 
9Falun Dafa, purifying their hearts, energizing their bodies, 
10and striving to create virtuous communities; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Falun Dafa's contribution to society has been 
12widely recognized and honored around the world since Li 
13Hongzhi introduced it to the public in 1992; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Falun Dafa transcends cultural and racial 
15boundaries and contributes to the universal dream of a 
16peaceful, tolerant, and compassionate society; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Falun Dafa practitioners' determination and 
18courage to stand up for Truthfulness, Compassion, and 
19Forbearance while facing severe persecution from the Chinese 
20Communist Party has shown the world the value of life and human

1dignity; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
3HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
4we declare May 13, 2025 as Falun Dafa Day in the State of 
5Illinois in honor of Truthfulness, Compassion, and 
6Forbearance.
