| 4 | | the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, on providing a |
| 5 | | unique, romantic dining experience for the past 60 years; and |
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Geja's Café was initially launched as a wine and |
| 7 | | cheese bar by John Davis in 1965; the restaurant briefly ran a |
| 8 | | full kitchen before deciding to only serve fondue in 1971, the |
| 9 | | same year it settled in its current location on West Armitage |
| 10 | | Avenue; and |
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Geja's Café has become known for its three-course |
| 12 | | premier dinner, which includes a cheese fondue course, an |
| 13 | | entree fondue course of meats, seafood, and vegetables, and a |
| 14 | | dessert fondue course of dark Belgian chocolate; and |
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Geja's Café, long heralded as one of Chicago's |
| 16 | | most romantic restaurants, has been the location of over 500 |
