| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Maximus on the occasion |
| 4 | | of its 50th anniversary; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Maximus, headquartered in McLean, Virginia, was |
| 6 | | founded with the mission of improving the delivery and |
| 7 | | efficiency of government services to better serve the American |
| 8 | | people on September 18, 1975; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, For 50 years, Maximus has successfully partnered |
| 10 | | with federal, state, and local governments to modernize public |
| 11 | | programs, providing independent, conflict-free, |
| 12 | | technology-driven, mission-focused support across health, |
| 13 | | human services, workforce development, and digital |
| 14 | | modernization; and
|
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Maximus has grown from a one-person consultancy |
| 16 | | into a global operations leader with more than 40,000 |
| 17 | | employees delivering measurable and impactful results for |
| 18 | | government agencies and the constituents they serve; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Maximus has pioneered key public-private |
| 20 | | partnerships, becoming the first company to successfully |
| 21 | | manage outsourced eligibility determination and |

| 3 | | WHEREAS, Maximus has consistently demonstrated its |

| 6 | | a variety of programs under Medicaid, Medicare, the Children's |
| 7 | | Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and the Affordable Care Act |
| 8 | | (ACA), as well as child support enforcement, workforce |
| 9 | | programs, veteran assessments, and disability services; and

| 10 | | WHEREAS, Maximus' data-driven operations have enhanced |
