HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The Beautiful Minds Youth Mentoring Foundation, 
3headquartered in Illinois, advances women's health, mental 
4wellness, youth mentorship, and inclusive enterprise through 
5its #MyPinkHealth initiative; and
 
6    WHEREAS, The Beautiful Minds Pink Saree 5K & Wellness 
7Expo, held on October 11, 2025, brought together citizens, 
8leaders, and international partners at Whalon Lake in 
9Bolingbrook; the event was sponsored by Mayor Mary 
10Alexander-Basta of the Village of Bolingbrook and State 
11Representative Natalie Manley; and
 
12    WHEREAS, The Beautiful Minds Pink Saree 5K & Wellness Expo 
13featured yoga and mindfulness sessions, breast screenings, 
14dental education with kit distribution, and a Women's 
15Enterprise Empowerment marketplace that provided mentorship 
16and sponsored booths for women-owned businesses and artisans; 
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, The Beautiful Minds Pink Saree 5K & Wellness Expo 
19further featured the Youth Voice Out program, the Pink Saree 
20Parade, and the #MyPinkHealth Art Showcase from India, through 
21which youth creativity and cultural exchange were amplified; 
22and

1    WHEREAS, Through the Pink Saree Awards of 2025, volunteers 
2and 5K winners were honored and leaders across diplomatic, 
3legislative, county, municipal, artisan, mentor, and youth 
4spheres were celebrated; and
 
5    WHEREAS, These collective efforts embody Illinois' values 
6of preventive health, equity, compassion, and global 
7collaboration; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
9HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
10we declare October 11, 2025 as Beautiful Minds Pink Saree 
11Day/#MyPinkHealth Awareness Day in the State of Illinois; and 
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That we encourage all residents of Illinois to 
14support initiatives that advance women's wellness, mental 
15health, and youth empowerment; and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
17delivered to Beautiful Minds Youth Mentoring Foundation as a 
18symbol of our esteem and respect.
