HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Eldon 
4Wayne Entwhistle of Princeton, who passed away on November 13, 
52025; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Eldon Entwhistle was born in Morrison to John and 
7Alma (Gehlsen) Entwhistle on June 26, 1943 and raised on the 
8family farm; he married Marshann Domack in Tahoe, Nevada on 
9May 23, 1996; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Eldon Entwhistle started his career with 
11International Harvester prior to going into the military; he 
12served with the United States Army from 1964 to 1967 as a 
13sergeant E5 during the Vietnam War; he returned to 
14International Harvester as a safety manager after his service; 
15he also owned his own company, Quality Coating, for over 35 
16years; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Eldon Entwhistle enjoyed being a private and 
18commercial pilot as well as a flight instructor; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Eldon Entwhistle followed politics closely and 
20advocated for spending within means and keeping government to 
21a minimum; he was involved with the Princeton Veteran's

1Organization; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Eldon Entwhistle was preceded in death by his 
3parents and his grandparents; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Eldon Entwhistle is survived by his wife of 29 
5years, Marshann; his brothers, Gehl and Brent Entwhistle; his 
6nephew, Christopher Entwhistle; and his niece, Jennifer 
7Entwhistle; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
9HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
10we mourn the passing of Eldon Wayne Entwhistle and extend our 
11sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew 
12and loved him; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14presented to the family of Eldon Entwhistle as an expression 
15of our deepest sympathy.
