| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Jeffrey Tischhauser on |
| 4 | | receiving the 2026 Republican Recognition Award, presented by |
| 5 | | the Bond County Republican Central Committee at the Lincoln |
| 6 | | Day Dinner; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Jeffrey Tischhauser has served Mills Township for |
| 8 | | 41 years; he is currently a township trustee and was first |
| 9 | | elected to the role in 1985; as a trustee, he has helped to |
| 10 | | craft policies and ensure necessary funding for local |
| 11 | | services; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jeffrey Tischhauser was elected township |
| 13 | | supervisor in 1989 and served in that capacity for 36 years, |
| 14 | | stepping down in 2025; as supervisor, he effectively managed |
| 15 | | township operations and provided essential services to the |
| 16 | | community; one of the biggest improvements during his time as |
| 17 | | supervisor was the construction of the township shed and |
| 18 | | meeting room; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Jeffrey Tischhauser is a lifelong Republican; he |
| 20 | | and his wife, Nancy, have one daughter and two grandsons; |
