| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Polo Community High |
| 4 | | School football team, the Marcos, for finishing as the 2025 |
| 5 | | Illinois State 8-Man Football Association (I8FA) Runner-Up; |

| 7 | | WHEREAS, The Marcos achieved a season record of 11 wins |
| 8 | | and two losses; and

| 9 | | WHEREAS, The Marcos advanced to the I8FA finals after a |
| 10 | | dominant performance in the semifinals against the South Fork |
| 11 | | High School football team, the Ponies, in Kincaid, concluding |
| 12 | | the game with a 38 to 0 victory; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, The Marcos are led by Head Coach Ted Alston, who |
| 14 | | has garnered a series of strong performances from players |
| 15 | | since he began leading the team in the fall of 2020; therefore, |
