HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The Illinois Association of Community Care 
3Program Homecare Providers (IACCPHP) is a statewide 
4organization representing agencies and professionals dedicated 
5to delivering essential home-based and community-based 
6services to older adults and individuals with disabilities 
7throughout the State of Illinois; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Community Care Program homecare providers play a 
9vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of 
10life by enabling thousands of Illinois residents to remain 
11safely in their homes and communities; and
 
12    WHEREAS, The services provided through the Community Care 
13Program help strengthen families, reduce unnecessary 
14institutionalization, and support the efficient use of public 
15resources while meeting the growing needs of Illinois' aging 
16population; and
 
17    WHEREAS, IACCPHP serves as an advocate for high-quality 
18care, workforce development, and sound public policy while 
19fostering collaboration among providers, policymakers, and 
20community stakeholders; and
 
21    WHEREAS, On April 15, 2026, IACCPHP members plan to visit

1the Illinois General Assembly to share their expertise, 
2experiences, and perspectives on the importance of sustaining 
3and strengthening homecare services across the State; 
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
6HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
7we commend the Illinois Association of Community Care Program 
8Homecare Providers (IACCPHP) and its members for their 
9commitment to compassionate care, their advocacy on behalf of 
10Illinois residents, and their continued service to communities 
11throughout the State of Illinois; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to the leadership of IACCPHP as a symbol of our 
14esteem and respect.
