HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives wish to congratulate Massac Memorial Hospital 
4on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of its founding; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital first began providing 
6health care services on April 14, 1956 and since then has been 
7a cornerstone of healthcare in Massac County and the 
8surrounding region, delivering high-quality, compassionate 
9medical care to generations of patients; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital has grown over the past 
11seven decades and adapted to meet the evolving healthcare 
12needs of the community, expanding its services, embracing 
13innovation, and maintaining a steadfast commitment to 
14patient-centered care; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital's success and longevity 
16are a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and 
17compassion of its physicians, nurses, healthcare 
18professionals, staff, and volunteers, who work tirelessly to 
19ensure the health and well-being of those they serve; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital has benefited from the 
21generosity and support of philanthropic individuals and

1organizations whose contributions have strengthened its 
2mission and ensured continued access to quality healthcare for 
3residents of Southern Illinois; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Massac Memorial Hospital's commitment to 
5excellence has made it a trusted and indispensable 
6institution, improving lives and strengthening the community 
7it proudly serves; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE 
9HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
10we congratulate Massac Memorial Hospital on the 70th 
11anniversary of its founding, and we commend the dedicated 
12healthcare professionals, staff, volunteers, and philanthropic 
13supporters whose contributions have made Massac Memorial 
14Hospital a lasting success; and be it further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
16presented to Massac Memorial Hospital as a symbol of our 
17respect and esteem.
