HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives wish to congratulate the Worth Park District
4Board of Commissioners on the occasion of achieving Master
5Board Member status in the Illinois Association of Park
6Districts (IAPD) Board Member Development Program; and
 
7    WHEREAS, The IAPD Board Member Development Program serves
8to recognize local board members who go above and beyond the
9call of duty through committee involvement, continuing
10education, and achievements at the local, state, and national
11levels; and
 
12    WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners
13has been actively engaged in this rigorous program over the
14past two to three years, reflecting a deep dedication to
15excellence in governance; and
 
16    WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners'
17steadfast commitment has culminated with every member of the
18board achieving the prestigious designation of IAPD Master
19Board Member in 2026; and
 
20    WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners'
21achievement marks the first time in its 60-year history that

1all sitting board members have concurrently reached this level
2of distinction; and
 
3    WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners
4now stands as one of very few boards statewide to have its
5entire membership designated as IAPD Master Board Members; and
 
6    WHEREAS, This historic accomplishment was achieved by
7Worth Park District Board of Commissioners President Donald
8Dambek, Vice President Rebecca Roberts, Treasurer Kari Lynn
9Fickes, Alternate Treasurer Melissa Nagel, and Commissioner
10Mike McElroy; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
12HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
13we congratulate the Worth Park District Board of Commissioners
14on their historic, collective achievement in attaining Master
15Board Member status in the Illinois Association of Park
16Districts (IAPD) Board Member Development Program, and we
17commend the board members for their tireless service to the
18residents of the Worth Park District and their commitment to
19public service and professional development; and be it further
 
20    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
21presented to the Worth Park District Board of Commissioners as
22a symbol of our esteem and respect.
