| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Worth Park District |
| 4 | | Board of Commissioners on the occasion of achieving Master |
| 5 | | Board Member status in the Illinois Association of Park |
| 6 | | Districts (IAPD) Board Member Development Program; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, The IAPD Board Member Development Program serves |
| 8 | | to recognize local board members who go above and beyond the |
| 9 | | call of duty through committee involvement, continuing |
| 10 | | education, and achievements at the local, state, and national |
| 11 | | levels; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners |
| 13 | | has been actively engaged in this rigorous program over the |
| 14 | | past two to three years, reflecting a deep dedication to |
| 15 | | excellence in governance; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners' |
| 17 | | steadfast commitment has culminated with every member of the |
| 18 | | board achieving the prestigious designation of IAPD Master |
| 19 | | Board Member in 2026; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners' |
| 21 | | achievement marks the first time in its 60-year history that |
|

| 1 | | all sitting board members have concurrently reached this level |
| 2 | | of distinction; and

| 3 | | WHEREAS, The Worth Park District Board of Commissioners |
| 4 | | now stands as one of very few boards statewide to have its |
| 5 | | entire membership designated as IAPD Master Board Members; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, This historic accomplishment was achieved by |
| 7 | | Worth Park District Board of Commissioners President Donald |
| 8 | | Dambek, Vice President Rebecca Roberts, Treasurer Kari Lynn |
| 9 | | Fickes, Alternate Treasurer Melissa Nagel, and Commissioner |
| 10 | | Mike McElroy; therefore, be it

| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE |
| 12 | | HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 13 | | we congratulate the Worth Park District Board of Commissioners |
| 14 | | on their historic, collective achievement in attaining Master |
| 15 | | Board Member status in the Illinois Association of Park |
| 16 | | Districts (IAPD) Board Member Development Program, and we |
| 17 | | commend the board members for their tireless service to the |
| 18 | | residents of the Worth Park District and their commitment to |
| 19 | | public service and professional development; and be it further
