AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 331 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 331, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment 
4No. 1, on page 2, by replacing lines 3 through 5 with the 
5following:
6        "(1) an organization primarily engaged in the 
7    construction or development of federally subsidized 
8    housing, permanent supportive housing, or shelters;"; and
 
9on page 2, by replacing lines 24 and 25 with the following:
10        "(1) owns in the aggregate 10 or more residential 
11    properties;"; and
 
12on page 3, by replacing lines 8 through 15 with the following:
13    ""Residential property" means a building or group of 
14buildings operated as a single entity that contains between 
15one and 4 dwelling units."; and

1on page 3, by replacing lines 20 through 24 with the following:
2"year in excess of 10 residential properties. This fee shall 
3increase by 10% for every 10 residential properties owned in 
4excess of 10 residential properties not to exceed 50% of the

6on page 9, line 22, by replacing "(Source: P.A. 102-16, eff. 
76-17-21; 103-8, eff. 7-1-23.)" with the following:

9    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 
102027.".
