AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 593 

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 593, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment 
4No. 1, by replacing line 22 on page 3 through line 23 on page 4 
5with the following:
6"the Department of Public Health.
7    (b) The Commission shall consist of the following members:
8        (1) the Director of Public Health or the Director's 
9    designee;
10        (2) the Secretary of Financial and Professional 
11    Regulation or the Secretary's designee;
12        (3) the Secretary of Healthcare and Family Services or 
13    the Secretary's designee;
14        (4) the Director of Insurance or the Director's 
15    designee;
16        (5) the Director of Commerce and Economic Opportunity 
17    or the Director's designee;
18        (6) the Director of Employment Security or the

1    Director's designee;
2        (7) the Attorney General or the Attorney General's 
3    designee;
4        (8) one member of the Senate, appointed by the 
5    President of the Senate;

8        (10) one member of the House of Representatives, 
9    appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives;
10        (11) one member of the House of Representatives, 
11    appointed by the Minority Leader of the House of 
12    Representatives; and
13        (12) the following members, appointed by the 
14    Governor,"; and
 
15on page 6, by replacing lines 9 and 10 with the following:
16    "(f) The Department of Public Health shall provide staff 
17and any necessary".
