| 4 | | "Section 5. The Department of Innovation and Technology |
| 5 | | Act is amended by adding Section 1-85 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 1-85. Website translation system. Subject to |
| 8 | | appropriation, on or before January 1, 2026, the Department of |
| 9 | | Innovation and Technology shall implement a pilot system that |
| 10 | | allows users who are accessing a website supported by the |
| 11 | | Department to automatically translate the contents of that |
| 12 | | website into another language. The pilot system shall provide |
| 13 | | automatic translation of at least the 25 most commonly spoken |
| 14 | | languages in this State. Subject to appropriation, the pilot |
| 15 | | system shall serve as a model for the provision, in future |
| 16 | | years, of additional translation services on websites |
