| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1625 | ||||||
| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1625 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the | ||||||
| 5 | Department of Central Management Services, and subject to the | ||||||
| 6 | conditions set forth in Section 10 of this Act, the Director of | ||||||
| 7 | the Department of Central Management Services is authorized to | ||||||
| 8 | convey by quitclaim deed all right, title, and interest in and | ||||||
| 9 | to the following described parcel of land in Logan County, | ||||||
| 10 | Illinois, to the City of Lincoln: | ||||||
| 11 | A part of the Southeast Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 36, | ||||||
| 12 | Township 20 North, Range 3 West of the 3rd Principal | ||||||
| 13 | Meridian, Logan County, Illinois identified as Parcel | ||||||
| 14 | 12-036-045-00 and more specifically described as LT 1 E | ||||||
| 15 | 1/2 SW SEC 36-20-3 (EX BEG SE COR N 1/2 SE SW SEC 36, W | ||||||
| 16 | 818.12", N 465.33", E 14", N 138", W 1208 17 to POB. | ||||||

| 1 | Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by | ||||||
| 2 | Section 5 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public | ||||||
| 3 | utilities, existing public roads, and any and all | ||||||
| 4 | reservations, easements, encumbrances, covenants and | ||||||
| 5 | restrictions of record; and (2) the express condition that if | ||||||
| 6 | this real property ceases to be used by the City of Lincoln, it | ||||||
| 7 | shall revert to the State of Illinois, Department of Central | ||||||
| 8 | Management Services. | ||||||
| 9 | Section 15. The Director of Central Management Services | ||||||
| 10 | shall obtain a certified copy of the portions of this Act | ||||||
| 11 | containing the title, the enacting clause, the effective date, | ||||||
| 12 | the appropriate Section containing the land description of the | ||||||
| 13 | property to be conveyed, and this Section within 60 days after | ||||||
| 14 | its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required | ||||||
| 15 | by the Section, shall record the certified document in the | ||||||
| 16 | Recorder's Office in the county in which the land is located. | ||||||
| 17 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 18 | becoming law.". | ||||||
