| 8 | | required to store public records under this Act may satisfy |
| 9 | | the requirements of this Act by storing the public records in |
| 10 | | an electronic form if the unit of local government maintains a |
| 11 | | secondary copy of public records stored in a secure storage |
| 12 | | system that: |
| 13 | | (1) complies with industry standards for data |
| 14 | | security, confidentiality, and accessibility; and |
| 15 | | (2) ensures that the records are retrievable in the |
| 16 | | event of data loss, corruption, or disaster affecting the |
