AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2457

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2457 on page 6, 
3line 23, by inserting "they" before "made"; and 
 
4on page 7, line 3, by replacing "were" with "they"; and 
 
5on page 7, line 6, by inserting "they" before "originated"; 
6and 
 
7on page 20, immediately below line 24, by inserting the 
8following:
 
9    "(205 ILCS 740/11)  (was 225 ILCS 425/11)
10    (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2026)
11    Sec. 11. Consent orders Informal conferences. Informal 
12conferences, after a formal hearing is requested, shall be 
13conducted with at least one member of the Board in attendance. 
14Notwithstanding any provisions concerning the conduct of

1hearings and recommendations for disciplinary actions, the 
2Department has the authority to negotiate agreements with 
3licensees and applicants resulting in disciplinary or 
4non-disciplinary consent orders. The consent orders may 
5provide for any of the forms of discipline provided in this 
6Act. The consent orders shall provide that they were not 
7entered into as a result of any coercion by the Department.
