| 3 | | with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. |
| 4 | | 1, by replacing lines 24 and 25 on page 9 with the following: |
| 5 | | "respondent, the Department in its discretion may shall |
| 6 | | conduct a fact finding conference. If the complainant and |
| 7 | | respondent both submit a written request for a fact finding |
| 8 | | conference prior to 90 days after the date on which the charge |
| 9 | | was filed, the Department shall conduct a fact finding |
| 10 | | conference unless prior to the Department's receipt of both |
| 11 | | requests, the Department has issued its report. Any request |
| 12 | | for a fact finding conference must include the party's written |
| 13 | | agreement to grant an extension of 120 days to the time period |
| 14 | | if requested by the Department to issue its report. If the |
| 15 | | Department conducts a fact finding conference, a complainant |
| 16 | | or respondent's , unless". |
