Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the State Police Merit Board for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, as follows:

| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | ARTICLE 1
|
| 5 | | Section 5. The amount of $1,432,900, or so much thereof as |
| 6 | | may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Police Merit |
| 7 | | Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for |
| 8 | | its ordinary and contingent expenses.
|
| 9 | | Section 10. The amount of $3,500,000, or so much thereof |
| 10 | | as may be necessary, is appropriated to the State Police Merit |
| 11 | | Board from the State Police Merit Board Public Safety Fund for |
| 12 | | all costs associated with a cadet program for the Illinois |
| 13 | | State Police.

| 14 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 15 | | 2025. |
