| 1 | | AN ACT concerning appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The amount of $4,000,000, or so much of that |
| 5 | | amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General |
| 6 | | Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for costs |
| 7 | | associated with the implementation of inclusive curriculum |
| 8 | | mandates, including, but not limited to, Native American |
| 9 | | history, LGBTQ+ history, Muslim American history, Asian |
| 10 | | American history, Latina and Latino history, Black history, |
| 11 | | and Holocaust education under Article 27 of the School Code.

| 12 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 13 | | 2025. |
