Appropriates $300,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to the Les Turner ALS Foundation for research on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and for care of those persons affected by the disease. Effective July 1, 2026. |

| 1 | | AN ACT making appropriations.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The amount of $300,000, or so much of that |
| 5 | | amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General |
| 6 | | Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to |
| 7 | | the Les Turner ALS Foundation for research on Amyotrophic |
| 8 | | Lateral Sclerosis and for care of those persons affected by |
| 9 | | the disease.

| 10 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, |
| 11 | | 2026. |
