| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2984 on page 3, by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 15 through 20 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(6) A representative of a non-profit association |
| 5 | | dedicated to advocating for and supporting Head Start and |
| 6 | | Early Head Start programs in this State. |
| 7 | | In addition, the Governor shall request that the Region V |
| 8 | | office of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' |
| 9 | | Administration for Children and Families appoint a member to |
| 10 | | the Council to represent federal children's programs and |
| 11 | | services.". |
